Withdrawing

Your liquidity is always yours. There are no lock-ups, so you can withdraw whenever you want.

Step by step

  1. Open the app at app.castor.fund and connect the wallet you deposited with.
  2. Go to your position. Open the strategy you are deposited in and select Withdraw.
  3. Enter an amount. Choose a partial amount or Max to withdraw everything, including accrued yield.
  4. Submit the withdrawal request. Review and confirm the transaction in your wallet. Redemptions are processed as requests and typically settle between 1 hour and 5 days, depending on the vault, while the strategy unwinds its positions in an orderly way.
  5. Claim your funds. Once the request settles, a claim appears on your dashboard. Claim it and the USDT0 lands back in your wallet.
Withdrawals settle on-chain and are subject to network gas fees. In rare periods of extreme market stress, settling can take longer while the strategy unwinds its hedge safely.
Weekend note. Some strategies hold tokenized real-world assets priced against traditional venues like the CME, which close on weekends. A withdrawal requested over the weekend may be validated on Monday when markets reopen (often sooner). Dashboard values can look less stable while those markets are closed.

Partial withdrawals

You can withdraw part of your balance and leave the rest earning. The remaining position keeps accruing yield as normal.
