Strategies

Castor offers several vaults on HyperEVM, all taking deposits in USDT0. Most are market-neutral (yield from funding rates and spreads), and one is directional. Each vault has its own risk profile. Live figures are always shown in the app.

Basis Trading HIP-3

Status: Live. Risk: Medium. Type: Market-neutral. The core strategy, and the one most people start with. It capitalizes on disparities in price and funding rates between HIP-3 and Hyperliquid perpetual markets, so returns come from market structure rather than price direction. Current net APR and TVL are shown live on the app and on the homepage.

Funding Spread

Status: Coming soon. Risk: Low. Type: Market-neutral. Pure carry: a conservative, market-neutral funding-rate capture for capital that wants to sit quietly.

Directional Volatility

Status: Coming soon. Risk: High. Type: Directional. A systematic long and short strategy. Unlike the market-neutral vaults, this one takes directional exposure, so it carries higher risk in exchange for higher potential yield.

APRs are not guarantees and vary with market conditions. The coming-soon vaults do not show a figure until they go live. See Risks.

Fees, minimums and redemption

Fees and the minimum deposit are shown in the app before you confirm a deposit. There are no lock-ups; redemptions are processed as requests and typically settle between 1 hour and 5 days, depending on the vault. Network gas (HYPE) applies to on-chain actions as usual. See Before you deposit to get ready.
