FAQ
Short answers to the most common questions.
Is Castor custodial?
No. Castor is non-custodial. You connect your own wallet and keep your keys at all times.
How is yield generated?
From funding rates and spreads on delta-neutral positions, not from the price of an asset going up or down.
Are there lock-ups?
No. You can withdraw at any time.
What are the fees?
There are no hidden fees. Performance is transparent on-chain. Network gas fees apply to deposits and withdrawals as with any on-chain action.
Is there a minimum deposit?
You can start with an amount that suits you. Keep a little extra for network gas fees.
Which wallets are supported?
Standard EVM self-custody wallets such as MetaMask, Rabby and hardware wallets.
Can I lose money?
Yes. Delta-neutral lowers directional risk but does not remove smart-contract, counterparty, funding-rate or execution risk.
